Support: the Zeus connector
The Zeus connector lets you save text from a chat to Zeus. You say “save this to Zeus”, and the text — a chat, a transcript or a report — waits for your Mac. The next time you work on that idea in Zeus, it is read first. In Zeus, an idea you are thinking through is called an exploration.
The same connector works in Claude and in Codex. You sign in once in each app, with GitHub. ChatGPT can sign in to it too; whether a ChatGPT chat can save is still being tested, and the guide says what to do if it cannot.
The connector works only for people on a Zeus team. Your Mac must be signed in to that team to take what you save.
Add the connector
The guide shows how to add the connector in each app, step by step: Save a chat to Zeus.
Before you write to us
These answers cover the most common problems.
The chat says it cannot reach Zeus. Sign in again. The guide shows how in each app. A sign-in ends when you have not used Zeus from that app for 30 days, or when you disconnect the app. If you leave every Zeus team you are on, saves are refused until you are on a team again.
I saved a chat, but my Mac does not show it. Your Mac picks up saves only while it is on, Zeus is running, and it is signed in to your team. Open the Zeus app and wait a minute. If you have more than one Mac, look on the other one: the first Mac to check in takes the save.
The chat said “saved”, but not where. The chat could not tell which exploration the text is for. Your Mac will ask you, in the Zeus app.
My save was refused because it is too long. The connector takes text only, up to 1 MB in one save — about 500 pages. The refusal says the limit, and most often how long your text was. Save it in parts.
I want to see or delete what I saved. Ask in the chat: “what have I saved to Zeus?” You can also delete a save in the Zeus app on your Mac. The privacy page says what delete removes.
Ask for help
Write to hello@zeusmode.ai. A person reads every message.
Please tell us:
- which app you used — Claude, Codex or ChatGPT — and on which device;
- what you said, and what the chat answered, in its own words;
- when it happened.
Please do not send the text you were trying to save, or any password.
