Terms: the Zeus connector

These terms are for the Zeus connector: the service that lets you save text from a chat to Zeus — today from Claude and from Codex. Zeus Mode runs it. By adding the connector to an app and signing in, you agree to these terms.

What the connector does

It keeps a copy of the text you save until a Mac of yours takes it, and deletes that copy then, or after 30 days. The privacy page says exactly what it keeps.

Your text stays yours

You own what you save. You give Zeus Mode only the right it needs to store your text, show it to you and send it to your Mac. We do not use it for anything else.

What you agree to

  • Save only text you have the right to save. If a chat or a transcript includes other people, make sure they agree to it being saved.
  • Do not save passwords, keys or other secrets.
  • Do not use the connector to break the law, or to harm the service or other people who use it — for example, by sending far more saves than a person would.
  • Keep your GitHub account safe. Anyone who can sign in as you can save to Zeus as you.

Limits

  • The connector works only for people on a Zeus team.
  • The connector takes text only, up to 1 MB in one save.
  • A copy no Mac of yours takes within 30 days is deleted.
  • We may refuse saves, or cut off an app’s access, to protect the service.

The service is offered as it is

We work to keep the connector running and your text safe. But we cannot promise that it will always be there, or never fail. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose: the chat app keeps its own copy of your chat.

As far as the law allows, Zeus Mode is not responsible for losses that come from using the connector, or from not being able to use it.

Stopping

You can stop at any time: disconnect the app from your Mac or from the chat, and remove the connector from the app.

We may change the connector or stop offering it. If we stop it, we will say so on this site first, and give you time for your Mac to take what is still waiting.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page changes, and the new terms apply to saves made after that.
